Quilt Block Guidelines
*Each block must be 8x8
*Quilt square may be a piece or applique pattern.
*Blocks must be painted on approved materials.
*The block must be approved by the GCCQP in order to maintain continuity,
refrain from excess duplication and insure the quality of the project.
*Quilt block must be placed on a local committee approved barn, building or other location.
*The applicant (homeowner) is responsible for safely transporting the
completed block to the property for hanging.
Each block costs approximately $700 for materials, painting and hanging of the quilt block.
Local painters and the WRECC are providing in kind donations to pain and hang the blocks
thus reducing the cost to $200 to pay for materials.
